Daniel D. Cline, PhD, RN, ANP-BC, CEN - is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Seattle University, College of Nursing. Dr. Cline received his BSN degree from the University of Vermont in 2000, his MSN degree with a clinical focus as an adult health nurse practitioner from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003, and his PhD from New York University, College of Nursing in 2012. He has clinical experience in emergency and critical care nursing as a bedside RN, and in the urgent care setting as an adult health nurse practitioner. Dr. Cline’s scholarship interests are broadly focused on chronic disease (prediabetes and type 2 diabetes), prelicensure curriculum development (gerontological nursing), and virtual clinical simulation. He is currently mentoring DNP students on expanding the TTH program to an online, summer program.
